Junior Race (Age groups: U8, U10, U12 Birth Year 2012 and later)

Base Training Program:

The Junior Race program is designed for experienced skiers who are looking to advance their ski racing skills. The focus is on building strong fundamentals at training practices which are held twice per week (three per week for training plus program athletes). Athletes in this group will work on refining their skills, increasing their comfort with speed and getting more comfortable with skiing against competition. All Junior Race athletes will have the opportunity to participate at one or more MWAR races. The MWAR race league provides athletes with an excellent opportunity to compete against peers from teams in the Milwaukee area in a fun, low pressure environment. Information about the MWAR league and other race opportunities can be found on our Race Leagues page.

Includes a minimum of two on snow training sessions per week starting in December and ending the first week in March. In December, schedules many vary depending on Tyrol Basin hours.
