US Ski & Snowboard Racing (USSS)
As a USSS club, Mad Alpine is able to support athletes through all levels of ski racing. Those who are interested in stepping into the next level and attending more out of town races are encouraged to join our USSS program. USSS races are available for non-scored (under 14 years old) and scored (over the age of 14) athletes. These races offer a more competitive environment for USSS club athletes to participate against other regional athletes across Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, and Illinois. Regional competitions are held on Saturdays and Sundays during the ski season. There are four midwest USSS regions. Mad Alpine USSS athletes will primarily race in region 2 races with some opportunities to race with region 1.

Mad Alpine has partnered with Coulee Alpine Racing (formerly known as Mt. La Cross Ski Team) for additional coaching support at US Ski Races. Mad Alpine athletes will be represented by a Mad Alpine coach OR a CAR coach at US Ski races. Additional race day coaching fees will apply to US Ski events. Fees will be communicated to racers prior to the events and will be billed via SportsEngine.
All athletes who are interested in attending a USSS event must obtain a US Ski and Snowboard competitors license prior to competing. Competitors licenses may be purchased here: my.usskiandsnowboard.org Late fees apply starting October 15th.
Mad Alpine or other local athletes who are interested in US ski should email Coach Alice to express interest.
